about

I'm Tomo, and this is my blog Tomo Sees where I share my 365 style with you.

Fashion has always been the most honest expressive outlet for my feelings and energy and vice versa.

My favorite piece of clothing I've ever owned still is a vintage Kenzo pink floral jacket and skirt with a lot of ruffles that my mother got for me when I was in 5th grade.

I wore it when I was just giggly happy. And I wore it when I was feeling low energy because it always picked me up!

I'd dress like my favorite fashion icons and fashion bloggers everyday if my job was fashion-friendly and I could afford what they wear and their closet. I have a not-so-glamorous job and work from home: English and Japanese teacher/ translator. So I need to look serious and look presentable when I meet with students and clients.

On top of my rather conservative job, I move back and forth between the U.S. and Japan every year basically living out of a suitcase or two. That's why it is so very important to have versatile pieces, mix and match, and creating as many outfits as possible in my wardrobe.
